How can I trust CLEAR JUNK™?

CLEAR JUNK™ is one of the UK’s leading waste clearance companies with over 50,000+ happy customers. We’re registered with the Environment Agency (Carrier Licence No: CBDU482409). You can verify our licence here: environment.data.gov.uk/public-register.

How much will my rubbish removal cost?

Pricing depends on the volume and weight of your items. We price by cubic yardage and weight, with clear time allowances for each load size. If you’re unsure, upload a photo for a fixed-price quote from one of the team. We know estimating can be tricky, so call, email, WhatsApp, or send a picture and we’ll help you choose the right load.

What happens to the waste after my removal?

We prioritise reuse and recycling. Reusable items may be donated, while recyclable materials are separated and sent to licensed facilities. Non-recyclables are taken to authorised disposal sites. You’ll receive a digital Waste Transfer Note confirming responsible handling.

What are your hours of operation?

We operate seven days a week with multiple time slots, including same-day availability in many areas. Check live availability when booking online, or contact our team and we’ll find the earliest suitable window for you.

Does my waste need to be bagged?

Bagging isn’t essential, but it helps for smaller or loose items and speeds up the collection. Please keep sharp, hazardous, or messy materials safely contained and let us know about any special items in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule—just contact our customer support team with your booking reference. We’ll do our best to accommodate changes; please note that late changes may incur a fee if the crew is already en route.

How quickly can you collect?

In many locations we offer same-day or next-day collections. Choose a time slot at checkout and track your driver live on the day. If it’s urgent, call us and we’ll try to prioritise your pickup.

My items are reusable, can you reuse any of my waste?

Yes—where possible we prioritise reuse by donating suitable items to charities and community partners. We’ll then recycle what we can and responsibly dispose of anything left. Proof of disposal is available on request.

Will you come upstairs and remove from inside?

Yes, our two-person team can collect from inside your property and from upper floors. Please ensure safe access and let us know about parking or lift restrictions when you book.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed waste carriers and hold comprehensive insurance. Our crews are trained to operate safely and compliantly, giving you peace of mind from start to finish.

How do I change or add items to my booking?

Contact our customer support team by phone, email, or WhatsApp with your booking reference and the changes required. Adjustments may affect the price or time allocation, and we’ll confirm any updates before proceeding.

How do I prepare for waste removal?

Please ensure items are accessible and clear a safe path for our team. Bag small, loose items where possible, disconnect appliances, and let us know about any heavy or unusual items in advance.

Do you provide a free estimate? Or a quote?

Yes—get an instant guide price online, request a photo quote, or arrange a no-obligation assessment for complex clearances. We’ll confirm a fixed price before we begin.

Do I have to be at home for my collection?

No—so long as we can access the items, you don’t need to be present. Leave them in an agreed location and add notes or photos at checkout. We can send before/after photos and a digital receipt.

Is there a minimum or maximum load size?

We handle everything from single items to full van loads. A minimum call-out applies for very small jobs, and larger clearances can be completed in multiple loads if required.

How do I book and pay?

Book online in a few clicks or contact our team. Pay securely by card (and popular digital wallets) at checkout or on completion, and receive instant digital documentation.

What documents will I receive?

You’ll receive a digital Waste Transfer Note for every collection and an itemised VAT receipt. Additional evidence (e.g., before/after photos) can be provided on request.

What waste types do you accept?

We collect most household and commercial waste, including furniture, appliances, garden waste, and builders’ rubble. We can’t take certain hazardous items (e.g., asbestos, gas bottles, chemicals, clinical waste). If in doubt, contact us for guidance.
